Techniques we offer:

Swedish Massage -

Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and improve circulation among many other health benefits.                                  

Trigger Point and Deep Tissue Therapy - 

Trigger points are located in a taut band of muscle fibers. The trigger point is the most tender point in the band. The therapist will locate and deactivate them using finger pressure. This type of massage is used to treat painful trigger points that cause referred pain. This type of therapy is very beneficial for relieving muscle tension due to stress, sports injuries and the accumulation of every day life stress.

Pregnancy Massage - 

Pregnancy massage has been found to reduce stress, decrease swelling in the arms and legs, and relieve aches and pains in muscles and joints. This type of massage is beneficial both during and after the pregnancy!

Facassage* - 

Facassage is a specialized method of massage and toning for the face. It focuses on myofascial release of the face, neck and shoulder musculature and lifting the skin, muscle and fascia of the face and neck to provide improved tone and elasticity. Facassage will help reduce any stress or tension in the face and neck, providing reliefof headaches and allowing for naturally younger looking skin!

Active Isolated Stretching -

AIS Technique is an effective treatment for deep and superficial fascial release, restoring proper fascial planes for optimal physiologic function. Performing an Active Isolated Stretch of no longer than 2.0 seconds allows the target muscles to optimally lengthen without triggering the protective stretch reflex and subsequent reciprocal antagonistic muscle contraction as the isolated muscle achieves a state of relaxation. These stretches provide maximum benefit and can be accomplished without opposing tension or resulting trauma.
